I’ve been wanting to try Mr. Mesquite for a long time now, and finally did today. To start out, I ordered my burrito online so my husband could swing by and grab it while he was out, and the total said 12.79. He called me after he left and told me he got my burrito and mango soda, which I had only ordered a burrito. He then told me the total was 16 and change. I called and spoke with the manager about this, who was very kind and professional— he said someone accidentally added a soda on, on their end, so he refunded for the drink. I’m not a fan of mango, but I’m sure one of our kids will drink it, haha. On to the burrito— it was FANTASTIC. It tasted super fresh, and the flavor was incredible! Not to mention the size/portions inside were very generous. I got the green and red salsa, and the green was everything I’ve been looking for, for so long I’d go back there just to get more of the green salsa and some chips! The red was a little too hot for me, but my husband loved it, and said it’s the perfect combo of heat & flavor. My husband also said the restaurant was very clean and welcoming as well. (Disregard the limes, they didn’t come from here) Very impressed, highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

You guys did great im very happy w the experience. Driving over 30 minutes from Phoenix passing 3 locations because you guys have the BEST service. FOOS WAS FRESH , TABLES CLEAN VERY PROFESSIONAL !!!!! Great attitude!!!!!!! Thank you and good job keep up the good work . Couldn’t get the 3 burrito in the photo because their in my stomach jajaja Gracias !!!!!!!!!! WILL BE BACK BROS

I've recommended so many people to this place. It's so much better than Chipotle and I'll die on that hill. Daniel was great. Gave us nice full portions in our burritos and constantly managed the food bar in downtime. Great employee.

Overall, I had a bowl with chicken and steak and toppings. Very filling and packed with flavor. The place was clean and the staff was helpful. Found my new place in Surprise!

This place is slept on. The Tex-Mex here is great, and they're doing it right. I've been here several times (ordered online and in-store), and it's always been top-notch. Service is great. The cooks really do an amazing job, and it's my new go-to for a quick bite to eat. Don't take my word for it, though. Stop in for yourself

Absolutely a shame how awful your online system is!!!! I couldn't order anything online so I went somewhere that was easier. Kept saying phone number was no good, I used a different number, then name was wrong, it's my name how is it wrong! What's wrong with you people, can't you just let somebody order food without logging into your POS system. How terrible, I just wanted food. First time is easy but try a 2nd time and no go. So I no go back!!!! Thank you for your response. I have updated my review.

The most authentic backyard tacos you'll find for miles in any direction. Sure, you have your run of the mill Mexican food quick service establishments around Surprise, but none of them are imparting the kind of unique flavors you can only fond from coal fired meat. The carne asada is juicy with a smokey finish. The barbacoa is sweet with just the right hint of spice. My only regret is not having tried this place sooner!

Hubbs loves the chorizo breakfast burros, yesterday he got us both one (since I was home too). The breakfast burritos were really good! Then we came for street tacos for dinner, LOL! The tacos were really good! We tried their corn and flour tortilla tacos- both are good. We did the 10 tacos, and we picked steak & chicken! The steak and chicken have great flavor and diced small! The toppings were really good! I did not love the red or green salsa- they were just ok, but still so good! We were able to eat 8 of the 10 !
